The Savings Projection chart shows how your cash and investment assets may change based on the savings and expenses modeled in your plan.

What should I look for?

  • Notice the years where the columns are taller than the year before. These are years where you have increased your net worth.

  • Notice the years where the columns are shorter than the year before. These are years where you are spending down your assets.

  • Notice if the columns change from blue to red. At this inflection point, you are projected to run out of savings.

What next?

  • See how the chart changes if you change your plan assumptions from optimistic to pessimistic.

  • See how the chart changes if you update something in your plan, such as working longer, spending less, or saving more.
