About the Instructor

Nancy Gates

With a hunger to continue learning after her career as a Spanish teacher and department leader, Nancy immersed herself in the language of personal finance and has since completed a certificate in accounting, passed the FINRA SIE exam, and passed the NASAA Series 63, 65, and 66 exams.

Nancy is a wealth of knowledge and loves working with the NewRetirement community. You may meet her during Coaching Sessions, My Plan Demos, Office Hours, or in Live Plan Review Sessions.

When she’s not crunching numbers, Nancy might be found on a hiking trail or curled up with a good book. She’s also an avid traveler and “templer,” having visited sites such as Teotihuacán, Machu Picchu, and Angkor Wat.
