Itemizing Medicare

This article will explain how to enter your Itemized Medical Expenses in the software.

If you know your Medicare Expenses, you may wish to itemize instead of utilizing the Medicare Estimator in the Planner.

These are the steps:

Step 1: Go to MyPlan > Expenses and Health Care > Medicare and begin the Medicare section by pressing START

Step 2: Do not select “Employer Sponsored Healthcare.” This option delays Medicare and eliminates the Medicare premiums until the employer sponsored end date.

Step 3: Select a Medicare option and complete the health information. The section will close.

Step 4: Press the arrow to open the section again and press Itemized

Step 5: Press "Add Itemized Medical Expense" for each Medicare item you wish to add and add the appropriate information.
